Honor 400 specs and price leak ahead of May launch

Following the recent release of the Honor 400 Lite earlier in April, Honor is now preparing to unveil two new smartphones: the Honor 400 and the Honor 400 Pro.

With increasing anticipation surrounding their launch, a new leak has surfaced providing detailed insights into the Honor 400’s specifications and pricing. According to industry insiders, the official release is expected sometime in May 2025.

The leaked information reveals that the Honor 400 will feature a sleek and compact design, measuring 156.5 x 74.6 x 7.3mm and weighing just 184 grams. It boasts an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, making it a durable yet stylish choice for users. At the front, the device is equipped with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display offering a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits—perfect for bright daylight visibility.

Under the hood, the Honor 400 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, offering efficient performance and strong multitasking capabilities. The phone runs on Android 15, customized with Honor’s latest MagicOS 9.0 interface, which promises a clean, fast, and user-friendly experience.

Battery life appears to be another strong suit, with a 5,300mAh battery supported by 66W SuperCharge fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime and all-day use. On the camera front, the Honor 400 packs a high-end 200MP main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 112-degree field of view, and a 50MP front-facing camera for detailed selfies and video calls.

The Honor 400 will reportedly be available in two elegant color choices: classic Black and a dual-tone Gold/Grey variant. As for configurations, consumers can expect two memory options—8GB RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The starting price for the 256GB model is rumored to be €499, positioning it competitively in the upper mid-range smartphone market.

With a balance of flagship-level features, cutting-edge display technology, and an eye-catching design, the Honor 400 is shaping up to be a compelling option for users looking for premium performance at a reasonable price. Expectations are high as Honor continues to cement its place in the global smartphone arena.
