Honor has officially unveiled the latest addition to its gaming-focused GT series – the Honor GT. The flagship device packs powerful hardware, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a massive cooling system, and cutting-edge charging capabilities, making it an ideal choice for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.
The Honor GT features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for a seamless viewing experience.
The panel boasts an impressive peak local brightness of 4,000 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. Additionally, the device includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and a 16MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Honor GT is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
To manage heat during intense gaming sessions, Honor integrates its advanced 3D cooling system, which utilizes a massive 5,514 mm² vapor chamber (VC) heatsink with graphite elements and 9W thermal conductive gel for efficient heat dissipation.
On the rear, the Honor GT houses a versatile dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP IMX906 primary sensor for sharp and detailed photos, alongside a 12MP ultra-wide lens for capturing expansive shots. The device runs on MagicOS 9.0, based on the latest Android 15 operating system, offering smooth and intuitive software performance.
Powering the Honor GT is a robust 5,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, complemented by 100W wired fast charging technology. This ensures minimal downtime, with rapid charging capabilities ideal for gamers and heavy users.
The Honor GT is available in three stylish color options: Ice White, Phantom Black, and Aurora Green. Pricing starts at CNY 2,199 (approximately $302) for the base 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the top-tier 16GB RAM + 1TB storage model is priced at CNY 3,299 (around $453).
The device is now available for purchase in China via Honor’s official website, with the first shipments scheduled to begin on December 18.
