Honor is set to launch the global version of its latest foldable smartphone, the Magic V3, on September 5 during the IFA 2024 event in Berlin.
The highly anticipated device will introduce a suite of innovative cloud AI features powered by Google Cloud, enhancing the smartphone’s capabilities and user experience.
The Honor Magic V3 will come equipped with several on-device AI functionalities designed to optimize multitasking on its foldable screen.
One of the standout features is the Magic Portal on Foldable, which allows users to run two different floating apps simultaneously, making it easier to manage multiple tasks at once.
In collaboration with Google, Honor will also introduce three additional AI-powered features: AI Eraser, Face to Face Translation, and Notes Live Translation.
These tools will require an internet connection for processing and accessing language packages. However, they promise to significantly improve everyday life and work scenarios, especially during business meetings, travel, and lifestyle sharing.
The Honor Magic V3 will make a mark as the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone, measuring just 4.4 mm when unfolded. Despite its slim profile, the device is powered by the robust Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, paired with 12 GB of RAM as the base configuration.
Users can also expect the phone to come with Google services pre-installed, ensuring seamless integration with the Google ecosystem right out of the box.
As Honor prepares for the global rollout, the Magic V3 is poised to redefine the foldable smartphone market with its cutting-edge AI features and impressive hardware. This launch marks a significant step forward in the evolution of smart devices, blending powerful performance with innovative AI-driven tools designed to enhance productivity and user experience across various scenarios.
