April 22, 2025 – Honor has officially launched the much-anticipated Honor X60 GT, marking its entry into the brand’s new GT lineup.
This high-performance smartphone is the first of three products in the series, with the Honor X60 GT Pro and Honor GT Pad Pro tablet set to debut tomorrow, April 23.
The Honor X60 GT boasts a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2,664 x 1,200 pixels. It supports a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, making it ideal for outdoor use and high-contrast media viewing. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, promising a blend of efficiency and flagship-level performance.
What sets the Honor X60 GT apart is its massive 6,300 mAh battery—one of the largest ever fitted into an Honor device. The phone supports blazing-fast 80W wired charging, capable of restoring 47% of the battery in just 15 minutes. Additionally, Honor has integrated bypass charging and an advanced cooling system, including a vapor chamber and thermal layers totaling 5,514 sq.mm, to keep thermals under control during extended gaming or charging sessions.
In terms of memory and storage, the Honor X60 GT comes in three configurations: 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM with 512 GB storage. The rear camera setup includes a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture and OIS, accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor. A 16 MP front camera takes care of selfies and video calls.
Running on MagicOS 9.0, the X60 GT introduces new AI-driven features such as intelligent photo editing, style customization, and Dynamic Island-style notifications. There’s also an AI-based video call assistant capable of modifying facial expressions in real time.
Available in Black, White, and Blue—with the latter two sporting a stylish grid pattern—the Honor X60 GT is now on sale in China starting at CNY 1,799 (roughly $250/€215). This release reaffirms Honor’s commitment to combining performance, design, and innovation in its smartphone offerings.
