ISLAMABAD: Google has announced a one-year free subscription to its Gemini AI services for students in Pakistan and other countries, giving eligible learners access to AI-powered tools for education, research and productivity.
The initiative has generated significant interest among Pakistani students, particularly those looking to use artificial intelligence tools for academic work. The Google AI Plus plan normally costs around Rs1,400 per month, but eligible students can access the subscription free of charge for one year under the offer.
Students can apply through Google’s dedicated student verification page and must provide information and documents to confirm their enrolment at an educational institution.
How Pakistani students can apply for free Gemini AI
Students seeking to claim the offer can follow these steps:

Select the Google AI Plus plan with the one-year free student offer.
Google will redirect the applicant to a page for student-status verification.
Enter the required personal and educational information, including name, father’s name, country, educational institution, date of birth and email address.
Select “Verify My Student Status.”
Upload the required documents to prove student status. Applicants may be asked to provide documents such as a student ID card, academic schedule or timetable, and tuition fee receipt.
Documents must be submitted in supported formats, including JPG, JPEG, PNG or PDF.
After the verification process is completed and the submitted documents are approved, eligible students can receive access to the Gemini subscription for one year without paying the regular monthly fee.
