Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Goes Global with New Devices

Huawei is expanding its dominance in the foldable smartphone market with the global launch of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate in Kuala Lumpur today.

Alongside the flagship foldable, the company is unveiling the MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025) refresh and two innovative accessories—the Huawei FreeArc hooked earbuds and the Huawei Band 10 smart band.

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate: Thinnest and Most Advanced Foldable

Huawei has been leading the foldable market in China, and now its latest Mate XT Ultimate is set to compete globally.

This device stands out as the thinnest foldable phone yet, measuring just 3.6mm when unfolded. It features a 10.2-inch Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) display, delivering a premium viewing experience with 322cm² of screen space.

The camera system borrows from Huawei’s Pura 70 Pro, featuring a 50MP main camera with a 10-step variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0). It also includes a 12MP periscope telephoto (125mm) and a 12MP ultra-wide lens for versatile photography. The Mate XT Ultimate will be available for €3,499, packing 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025) with PaperMatte Display

The refreshed Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025), originally launched in China, features a 13.2-inch OLED PaperMatte display. This innovative technology reduces glare by 97%, making the screen easier on the eyes. With 1,000-nit brightness, it delivers exceptional clarity without excessive power consumption.

For those seeking a laptop-like experience, the tablet supports the Smart Magnetic Keyboard. It also includes Huawei Notes and GoPaint, an advanced drawing app. Powered by a 10,100mAh battery, it supports 65W SuperCharge, reaching a full charge in just 65 minutes.

Huawei FreeArc Earbuds & Band 10 Smart Band

Huawei is also entering the open-ear earbud segment with the Huawei FreeArc, its first hooked earbuds. Designed for comfort and stability, they feature IP57 water resistance, making them ideal for sports and outdoor activities. Equipped with 17x12mm drivers, a symmetrical acoustic structure, and dynamic bass tuning, the FreeArc is priced at £99/€119.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Band 10 focuses on wellness, featuring an Enhanced Sleep Health Assistant and an Emotional Wellbeing Assistant. It tracks heart rate variability and provides actionable insights to improve sleep quality.

Pricing and availability for the MatePad Pro 13.2 (2025) and Band 10 will be announced soon, while the Mate XT Ultimate and FreeArc earbuds are ready to hit global markets. Stay tuned for more updates on Huawei’s latest innovations.
