Hyundai Pakistan announced a massive hike in car prices after the increase in sales tax. The revised prices of Hyundai cars have been effective from February 28, 2023.
The federal cabinet approved the Finance Supplementary Bill 2023 allowing increase in general sales tax to 18 per cent and additional taxes on luxury items as part of the reforms related to the International Monetary Fund’s Ninth Review.
The uncertain economic situation and devaluation of local currency against dollar has compelled the company to increase the retail selling prices of the vehicles.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Hyundai Elantra:
The price of Hyundai Elantra 1.6 has been increased by Rs100,000 to Rs5,849,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs5,749,000.
The price of Hyundai Elantra 2.0 has been increased by Rs195,000 to Rs6,349,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs6,154,000.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Hyundai Sonata:
The price of Hyundai Sonata 2.0 has been increased by Rs405,000 to Rs9,129,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs8,724,000.
The price of Hyundai Sonata 2.5 has been increased by Rs455,000 to Rs9,939,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs9,484,000.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Hyundai Tucson:
The price of Hyundai Tucson GLS Sport FWD has been increased by Rs105,000 to Rs7,569,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs7,464,000.
The price of Hyundai Tucson Ultimate AWD has been increased by Rs200,000 to Rs8,169,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs7,969,000.
Following are the increased prices for all variants of Hyundai Porter H-100:
The price of Hyundai Porter Deckless has been increased by Rs201,000 to Rs3,589,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs3,388,000.
The price of Hyundai Porter Flat-Deck has been increased by Rs201,000 to Rs3,609,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs3,408,000.
The price of Hyundai Porter High-Deck has been increased by Rs201,000 to Rs3,629,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs3,428,000.
