The record-breaking expedition, organized by Hyundai Motor India, was successfully completed by a professional team from Evo India. The IONIQ 5 achieved an extraordinary altitude change of 5,802 meters, showcasing its unmatched capabilities.
The journey commenced at Umling La, the world’s highest motorable pass located in Leh Ladakh, at an elevation of 5,799 meters above sea level.
From there, the team traveled to Kuttanad in Kerala, a region situated three meters below sea level. This impressive expedition spanned over 4,900 kilometers, cutting across diverse terrains and extreme weather conditions, highlighting the IONIQ 5’s resilience and versatility.
The 14-day challenge was a true test of the IONIQ 5’s performance, tackling freezing temperatures and steep inclines in the Himalayas while transitioning to the humid and coastal climate of Kerala.
