In response to the rising global freight charges and their impact on production costs, Hyundai Pakistan has announced an increase in the prices of its vehicles.
The company has adjusted the prices of popular models including the Hyundai Elantra, Tucson, Sonata, and Porter. The new pricing structure will take effect from October 1, 2024.
Revised Hyundai Car Prices
Below are the updated prices for Hyundai’s vehicles after the latest price revision:
Hyundai Elantra
Elantra 2.0: Previously priced at Rs 6,930,000, the new price is set at Rs 7,180,000, reflecting a hike of Rs 250,000.
Hyundai Tucson
Tucson GLS (FWD): The price has increased by Rs 150,000, bringing the new price to Rs 7,315,000 from its previous Rs 7,165,000.
Tucson GLS Sport (FWD): With a rise of Rs 250,000, the new price is Rs 8,280,000, up from Rs 8,030,000.
Tucson Ultimate (AWD): This model now costs Rs 8,909,000 after a price increase of Rs 250,000 from the previous Rs 8,659,000.
Hyundai Sonata
Sonata 2.0: The price has surged by Rs 250,000, raising the cost from Rs 9,979,000 to Rs 10,229,000.
Sonata 2.5: The price has been revised to Rs 11,205,000, an increase of Rs 275,000 from the earlier Rs 10,930,000.
Hyundai Porter
Porter High Deck (with AC): Previously priced at Rs 4,189,000, it now costs Rs 4,389,000, reflecting a rise of Rs 200,000.
Porter Flat Deck (with AC): The new price is Rs 4,369,000, up by Rs 200,000 from the previous Rs 4,169,000.
Porter Deckless (with AC): This model has seen a price increase of Rs 200,000, now costing Rs 4,349,000, up from Rs 4,149,000.
Porter High Deck (without AC): The price has risen by Rs 200,000, bringing it to Rs 4,279,000 from Rs 4,079,000.
Porter Flat Deck (without AC): Previously Rs 4,059,000, this model now costs Rs 4,259,000 after a Rs 200,000 increase.
Porter Deckless (without AC): The new price is Rs 4,239,000, reflecting a Rs 200,000 hike from the earlier Rs 4,039,000.
Terms and Conditions
The revised prices are ex-factory and apply to all new orders placed on or after October 1, 2024. Orders created by September 30, 2024, with full payment made before October 1, 2024, will be charged at the old rates.
These prices include applicable Federal Excise Duty (FED), Sales Tax, and Dealer’s Commission, but exclude transportation and transit insurance charges, which will be applied at the prevailing rates at the time of dispatch.
Customers should note that any changes in government levies, tariffs, or policies affecting vehicle costs will be passed on to them.
The prices are provisional and may change without prior notice, with the final price being determined at the time of invoicing. Additionally, a 4% Sales Tax surcharge will apply to customers who are not active or registered in Sales Tax.
