Hyundai Unveils Robust Bayon in Competitive B-SUV Segment

Hyundai Motor has revealed the all-new Bayon, showcasing a bold and robust design that sets it apart in the competitive B-SUV segment. This crossover SUV, specifically tailored for the European market, boasts upgraded interior and technology features, making it a standout choice for savvy consumers.

The Bayon’s exterior exudes a sharp and distinctive aesthetic, with a redesigned front featuring an integrated LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL) bar, creating a seamless Horizon light signature.

The front bumper and radiator grille have been enhanced for a more rugged appearance, while the rear showcases a redesigned bumper and newly designed 16- and 17-inch wheels.

Praised for its stylishly cool design, the Bayon stands out with eye-catching proportions and strong graphic features. The front grille’s innovative design creates a solid stance, and dynamic shoulder lines provide a wedge-shaped look on the side. The arrow-shaped lights at the rear emphasize the vehicle’s width, contributing to its modern and strong appearance.

With a total of nine exterior colors, including four new additions, and an optional two-tone roof in Phantom Black, the Bayon offers a range of customization options to suit individual preferences.

Advanced Connectivity and Technology for a Seamless Driving Experience

Hyundai’s commitment to customer satisfaction is evident in the Bayon’s advanced connectivity technology. The digital cockpit and top-line infotainment features have been enhanced, now offering Over-the-Air (OTA) map updates for a seamless experience.

Standard features include a 4.2-inch LCD Cluster and a 10.25-inch Audio Visual Navigation Screen (AVN). The Bayon continues to offer popular features such as the optional 10.25-inch configurable digital cluster, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, wireless charger, and the latest Bluelink® telematics update.

The Bayon ensures convenience with two USB-C ports for simultaneous charging of tech devices and a front USB-A port for data transfer to the infotainment system. A premium Bose sound system with eight speakers, including a subwoofer, enhances the in-car audio experience.

Spacious and Comfortable Interior with LED Illumination Technology

The Bayon features a well-lit and spacious interior, prioritizing front and rear passenger comfort and offering a generous boot space. LED technology replaces traditional light bulbs for enhanced in-car illumination, including optional LED Room/Map and Sunvisor lamps. Passengers can personalize the interior ambiance with the multicolor front ambient lighting technology.

Cutting-Edge Safety Features for a Secure Driving Experience

Setting the Bayon apart from its competitors, it incorporates several semi-autonomous driving features. Lane Following Assist (LFA) ensures the vehicle stays centered in its lane, while Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) alerts and, if necessary, applies brakes to prevent collisions with cars, pedestrians, or cyclists. Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) adjusts speed autonomously based on navigation data when driving on highways.

Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) uses multiple sensors to monitor corners and alerts the driver to potential collisions, taking action if necessary. Driver Attention Warning (DAW) and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LVDA) gently redirect the driver’s attention when needed.

The Bayon introduces second-generation eCall on the 4G network, automatically alerting emergency services in case of airbag deployment or allowing occupants to activate it manually. This ensures a rapid response in the event of an accident.

The all-new Hyundai Bayon combines stylish design, advanced technology, and cutting-edge safety features, making it a top contender in the B-SUV segment for European consumers.
