Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid variants become significantly more expensive as Indus Motor Company revises prices across the lineup.
Indus Motor Company (IMC) has officially announced a substantial increase in the prices of its locally assembled Toyota Corolla Cross hybrid models, with the hike reaching as high as Rs1.364 million.
The latest revision significantly raises the cost of Pakistan’s popular hybrid crossover SUV and is expected to impact prospective buyers across the country.
According to the revised pricing structure issued by the company, both available hybrid variants of the Corolla Cross have witnessed sharp upward adjustments.
Updated Pricing:
The Toyota Corolla Cross HEV X, which previously carried an ex-factory price of Rs8,935,000, will now be available for Rs10,299,000.
This reflects an increase of Rs1,364,000, making it one of the most significant price revisions seen in the hybrid SUV segment in recent months.
Similarly, the Toyota Corolla Cross HEV variant has also become considerably more expensive. The model’s price has been raised from Rs8,535,000 to Rs9,849,000, representing an increase of Rs1,314,000. The revised rates are effective immediately and apply to new bookings.
The latest adjustment pushes the Corolla Cross HEV lineup into a higher price bracket, potentially influencing purchasing decisions among consumers looking for fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles.
Despite the increase, the Corolla Cross continues to attract buyers due to its hybrid technology, modern safety features, comfortable cabin, and Toyota’s strong resale value in Pakistan.
The hybrid crossover has gained popularity in recent years as motorists seek alternatives to conventional petrol-powered vehicles amid fluctuating fuel prices. Its combination of fuel efficiency and SUV practicality has helped it establish a strong presence in the local market.
Industry analysts believe the latest increase could reshape competition in Pakistan’s growing hybrid vehicle segment, where several automakers are introducing electrified models.
However, Toyota’s established reputation and widespread dealership network may help the Corolla Cross maintain its appeal despite the higher prices. With the new rates now in effect, potential buyers will need to allocate significantly larger budgets to own one of Pakistan’s most sought-after hybrid SUVs.
