Inter Milan Secures Marcus Thuram on Free Transfer

Inter Milan has secured the services of talented French winger, Marcus Thuram, who joined the club on a free transfer after his contract with Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga expired.

The 25-year-old footballer, following in the footsteps of his esteemed father Lilian Thuram, a former Barcelona and Juventus defender, is set to make his mark at Inter Milan. Lilian Thuram famously achieved World Cup success with France in 1998.

Having spent four successful seasons with Monchengladbach, Marcus Thuram showcased his skills in 134 matches, finding the back of the net 44 times.

He initially made his move to the Bundesliga in 2019 from Guingamp in Ligue 1. With his contract at Monchengladbach coming to an end, several top European clubs had expressed interest in signing the forward in recent months.

Marcus Thuram has also represented France on ten occasions at the international level. He made his senior debut against Finland in November 2020 and even made a late substitute appearance in the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Unfortunately, France lost to Argentina in a penalty shootout. Thuram’s impressive performances have further fueled excitement for his future endeavors at Inter Milan.
