Karachi, November 18, 2024 – The 12th edition of the prestigious International Defense Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024 will open its doors on Tuesday, November 19, at the EXPO Centre in Karachi.
The four-day event, running from November 19 to 22, promises to be a significant showcase of Pakistan’s advanced defense capabilities and an opportunity to foster international collaborations in the defense sector.
Organized by the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Export Promotion Organization (DEPO), IDEAS 2024 aims to highlight Pakistan’s growing defense industry on the global stage. The exhibition will feature a wide range of state-of-the-art military hardware, including weaponry, tanks, fighter jets, helicopters, naval ships, submarines, and advanced drone systems, underscoring Pakistan’s strategic defense advancements.
A key focus of the exhibition will be innovations in missile technology, cyber defense, satellite systems, and electronic warfare, all of which are integral to Pakistan’s expanding technological prowess in defense production. The event will also highlight the strategic importance of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which is playing a crucial role in enhancing the defense industry’s global standing and encouraging foreign investment in the sector.
IDEAS 2024 is of immense significance to Pakistan’s defense industry.
