New price list gives buyers a clearer picture of ownership costs

JAC Motor Pakistan has officially disclosed the prices of key spare parts for its flagship JAC T9 pickup truck, offering current and prospective owners a better understanding of maintenance and accidental repair expenses.

The announcement covers several commonly replaced body and lighting components, ranging from bumpers and mirrors to doors, fenders, and headlights.

With the pickup segment becoming increasingly competitive in Pakistan, transparency regarding spare parts pricing is an important factor for customers evaluating long-term ownership costs.

Front-End Components: Headlights and Grille Among Costliest Items

According to the released price list, the front grille assembly is priced at PKR 75,724, while the JAC logo grille badge costs PKR 5,428. The front windshield is listed at PKR 21,106.

Among the most expensive front-end components are the front combination lamps (headlights), with both left and right units priced at PKR 71,643 each. Meanwhile, the left and right exterior rearview mirror assemblies cost PKR 32,007 per side.

The rear bumper assembly is comparatively affordable at PKR 15,200.

Rear Lighting and Fog Lamps Pricing

For the rear section, the left rear combination lamp assembly carries a price tag of PKR 44,293, while the right rear combination lamp assembly costs PKR 42,873.

Fog lamp replacement appears relatively economical. Both left and right rear fog lamp assemblies are priced at PKR 4,187 each, making them among the least expensive components on the list.

Body Panels and Doors

Body repair costs can quickly add up following an accident. The left front fender is priced at PKR 12,491, while the right front fender costs PKR 12,221.

The engine bonnet (hood) is listed at PKR 57,993.

The most expensive body components revealed in the list are the doors. Both front doors are priced at PKR 97,364 each, while the rear doors cost PKR 95,460 per side.

Analysis: How Competitive Are These Prices?

The newly released pricing indicates that JAC Pakistan is focusing on maintaining a balance between affordability and quality.

While major components such as headlights, doors, and the front grille carry premium price tags, several frequently damaged parts—including bumpers, fenders, windshields, and fog lamps—remain relatively accessible.

For pickup truck buyers, spare parts availability and repair costs are often just as important as performance, payload capacity, and features.

By publicly sharing these prices, JAC is providing greater transparency and helping customers make more informed purchasing decisions.

What Does This Mean for Buyers?

If you are considering the JAC T9, the spare parts list offers valuable insight into potential repair expenses after minor or major accidents.

While some replacement components are costly, the overall pricing structure appears competitive for a modern imported pickup truck in Pakistan’s growing lifestyle and commercial vehicle segment.

As competition intensifies among pickup manufacturers, transparent after-sales information like this could become a key factor influencing buyer confidence and ownership satisfaction.
