JazzCash, Pakistan’s leading fintech platform, has teamed up with Spotify, the world’s most popular audio streaming service, to make Spotify Premium subscriptions easier to access. This partnership enables users to pay for Spotify Premium directly through JazzCash, eliminating the need for a bank account and bringing seamless music streaming to millions of Pakistanis.
In a press release, Jazz highlighted the growing importance of digital payments in Pakistan, where e-commerce transactions reached 118 million in the first quarter of FY25. Of these, 91% were facilitated through digital wallets, showcasing a shift toward cashless payments. JazzCash plays a pivotal role in this transformation, serving over 2 million e-commerce users monthly and integrating with 2,000 online merchants. In 2024 alone, JazzCash processed transactions worth over PKR 160 billion in the e-commerce sector, cementing its position as a leader in digital payments.

With this partnership, users can enjoy Spotify Premium’s vast catalog of over 100 million songs, AI-powered DJ, and group listening features like Jam. Subscriptions are easy: users select a plan in the Spotify app, choose JazzCash as the payment method, and confirm their subscription. The Premium Individual plan costs PKR 349 per month, offering uninterrupted music at an affordable price.
To celebrate the launch, JazzCash and Spotify are offering promotional deals. New users can avail two months of Spotify Premium for the price of one with the “Always-On” offer. Additionally, until December 31, 2024, new subscribers can enjoy four months of Spotify Premium for the price of one.
