Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film grossed an astounding $23 million worldwide on Thursday, June 27, marking a historic milestone in Indian cinema.

Starring a stellar ensemble cast including Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles, “Kalki 2898 AD” captivated audiences across multiple languages. In India alone, the Hindi version garnered over $3 million, contributing significantly to the overall domestic gross of nearly $11 million across all languages. Saksena highlighted the film’s broad appeal across cinema formats, noting, “Approximately 45% of cinephiles opted for 3D and IMAX formats, underscoring the demand for an immersive theatrical experience.” Single-screen theaters also played a pivotal role, contributing a substantial 60% to the total ticket sales on BookMyShow, further amplifying the film’s reach and popularity among diverse audience segments.
