Karachi Port Trust Shipping Intelligence Report – July 31, 2023

Karachi’s bustling port witnessed various shipping activities as per the Karachi Port Trust Shipping Intelligence report on Monday, July 31, 2023.

Berthing Updates:

1. ALONGSIDE EAST WHARF:

• Berth No. OP-1: The ship “Neptune I” has completed the discharge of Crude Oil and was operated by Pakistan National Shipping Corp. It berthed on 28th July 2023.

• Berth No. OP-2: The vessel “Maritime Kelly Anne” finished discharging Mogas and was handled by Alpine Marine Services. It berthed on 29th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-1: The ship “Bow Summer” unloaded Chemical cargo, and Alpine Marine Services managed its operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-4: The vessel “Nordrhone” discharged Chickpeas, and Sea Trade Shipping took charge of the operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-10/B-11: The ship “Da Hong 16” finished unloading General Cargo, and Seahawks Pvt. Ltd handled the operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-11/B-12: The vessel “Elbabe” loaded Clinkers, and Crystal Sea Services managed its operations. It berthed on 26th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-13/B-14: The ship “Mona Manx” discharged Canola and was operated by Ocean Services Pvt. Ltd. It berthed on 2nd July 2023.

• Berth No. B-14/B-15: The vessel “Theodore” unloaded Rock Phosphate cargo, and WMA Shipcare Services Pvt. Ltd handled its operations. It berthed on 28th July 2023.

2. ALONGSIDE WEST WHARF:

• Berth No. B-27/B-26: The ship “Northern Practise” completed the discharge of Container cargo, and Oceansea Shipping Pvt. Ltd managed its operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-28/B-29: The vessel “Olympia” finished unloading Container cargo, and Cosco Shipping Line Pak Pvt. Ltd handled the operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. B-29/B-30: The ship “Wadi Bani Khalid” discharged Container cargo, and Universal Shipping Pvt. Ltd was responsible for its operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

3. ALONGSIDE SOUTH WHARF:

• Berth No. Saptl-2/Saptl-3: The ship “Yantian Express” completed the discharge of Container cargo, and Hapag Lloyd Pakistan managed the operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. Saptl-2: The vessel “Hyundai Courage” finished unloading Container cargo, and United Marine Agencies handled the operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

• Berth No. Saptl-4: The ship “Apl Salalah” discharged Container cargo, and Cma Cgm Pakistan was responsible for its operations. It berthed on 30th July 2023.

Expected Sailing:

• The ship “Yantian Express” is scheduled to sail on 31st July 2023 after completing the discharge of Container cargo. Hapag Lloyd Pakistan is handling the operations.

• The vessel “Wadi Bani Khalid” is also expected to sail on 31st July 2023 after finishing the discharge of Container cargo. Universal Shipping Pvt. Ltd is managing the operations.

Expected Arrival:

Several ships are expected to arrive at Karachi Port on 31st July 2023, with various cargoes and agents involved. Some notable arrivals include:

• “Sea Holy” with D/72000 Crude Oil, managed by Pakistan National Shipping Corp.

• “Gc Argon” with D/8000 Chemical cargo, operated by Alpine Marine Services.

• “Mtm Antwerp” carrying L/18000 Ethanol cargo, with East Wind Shipping Company as the agent.

• “Apl Antwerp” with D/L Container cargo, operated by Cma Cgm Pakistan.

• “Gfs Giselle,” “Gfs Prime,” and “Ren Jian 8” with D/L Container cargo, handled by East Wind Shipping Company, and “Lmz Vega” with L/12150 Mill Scale cargo, managed by Crystal Sea Services.

• “Msc Monica III” and “Northern Discovery” with D/L Container cargo, operated by Msc Agency Pakistan Pvt. Ltd and Hapag Lloyd Pakistan, respectively.

• “Phoenix Leader” with D/395 Vehicle cargo, handled by NYK Line Pakistan, and “Nazmi C” with L/13000 Talc Powder cargo, operated by Project Shipping.

Ships That Sailed:

Four ships successfully completed their operations and sailed from Karachi Port on 31st July 2023. They are:

• “Wan Hai 515,” a Container Ship.

• “One Matrix,” a Container Ship.

• “Ayoe,” a Tanker.

• “Neptune 1,” a Tanker.

The Karachi Port remained active and continued its role as a vital gateway for trade and commerce, facilitating the movement of goods in and out of Pakistan.
