Katy Perry is all set for a monumental chapter in her life, balancing two major adventures—her highly anticipated world tour and a historic space mission.
The global pop sensation, known for her electrifying performances and bold persona, is preparing to launch an 84-date international tour, with a special guest in tow: her daughter Daisy.
In a candid conversation with E! News, Perry revealed that she plans to bring Daisy along for the journey, offering her a chance to see the world through the lens of music and celebration. “It’s like Christmas for her,” Perry shared, adding, “There is so much light and joy and hope in everything from her point of view.” The Roar singer explained that being a mother has deeply influenced her approach to touring.
“One thing I will be implementing is an earlier showtime,” Perry explained. “Now I really feel for all the mothers I made wait when I started my shows at 9:15 p.m.” Although Perry confirmed that Daisy will not be appearing on stage, she emphasized how meaningful it is to have her daughter by her side during such an important chapter in her career.
In addition to her musical commitments, Perry is also preparing for another groundbreaking mission—this time, into space. On April 14, she will board a sub-orbital flight as part of an all-female crew led by Lauren Sánchez, fiancée of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos. The mission, operated by Blue Origin’s NS-31, includes Perry, rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, bio-astronautics researcher Amanda Nguyen, CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King, and film producer Kerianne Flynn.
With rehearsals for the tour beginning and the space launch just around the corner, Perry is embracing this moment with excitement and gratitude. Whether dazzling fans on Earth or reaching for the stars, Perry’s bold spirit continues to inspire. As she balances motherhood, music, and space travel, Katy Perry proves once again she’s a force to be reckoned with—on any stage, or beyond.
