In a significant move to benefit the local business community, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) and Jazz, Pakistan’s leading 4G operator and top internet and broadband service provider, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The agreement, formalized on Saturday, aims to provide substantial discounts on Jazz’s services to KCCI members.
Under the terms of the MoU, KCCI members will be eligible for up to 35% discount on a range of Jazz services, including data, voice, and devices. This offer will be effective from January 19, 2021, and can be accessed through the execution of a service contract between Jazz and the individual KCCI members.
The MoU was signed by President KCCI, M. Shariq Vohra, and Jazz’s Regional Head B2B Sales, Asim Irshad. The ceremony was also attended by KCCI’s Senior Vice President, M. Saqib Goodluck, Vice President Shamsul Islam Khan, and Jazz’s Regional Business Head (South), Ali Fahd Ahmad.
Optimizing Business Services
During the signing ceremony, M. Shariq Vohra expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. “Considering Jazz’s reputation for excellence and its high-quality service, I am confident that KCCI members will benefit from improved, customized services at discounted rates. Such collaborations are essential for enhancing the value delivered to the business and industrial community, providing innovative solutions tailored to their needs,” said Vohra.
The collaboration aims to streamline and enhance connectivity solutions for the business sector, making it easier for companies to access modern telecommunication and internet services at a reduced cost. This strategic partnership is expected to support businesses in managing their communications more efficiently while reducing operational costs.
Jazz’s Commitment to Local Businesses
Ali Naseer, Chief Business Officer at Jazz, highlighted the significance of the agreement from Jazz’s perspective. “Our goal is to create synergies that amplify the impact of our innovative solutions across all market segments. This partnership with KCCI enables us to deliver greater value to the local business community, reflecting our commitment to supporting business growth through enhanced connectivity solutions,” Naseer said.
Activation and Payment Details
To avail of the discounted services and devices, KCCI members will need to provide proof of their membership to Jazz. All service connections will be registered under the company’s name. Member companies will be responsible for ensuring the timely payment of dues to maintain their access to the discounted services.
