Khloé Kardashian Reflects on Infidelity Without Self-Blame

Khloé Kardashian, 40, is choosing to rise above the infidelity she experienced in her past relationships, including her marriage to Lamar Odom and her tumultuous relationship with Tristan Thompson.

Despite the betrayals, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star firmly believes that their actions were not a reflection of her but rather a result of their own unresolved traumas.

Speaking on her podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, on Wednesday, Kardashian opened up about her healing journey. “I know what was done to me wasn’t about me,” she said. “It was about them and the past trauma they’ve never healed from.”

Khloé shared that when she confronted her ex-partners about their infidelity, they often attributed their actions to personal issues rooted in their upbringing. “They’d say things like, ‘Oh, my parents divorced,’ or, ‘I came from a broken home.’ It’s never about the immediate relationship,” she explained.

As the mother of two—daughter True Thompson, 6, and son Tatum Thompson, 2, whom she shares with Tristan—Khloé credits her family and faith for helping her navigate the pain of broken relationships. “If it wasn’t for my family, my core circle, and my relationship with God, I don’t think I’d have been able to move on. I’ve learned it wasn’t about me,” she said.

Khloé has since shifted her perspective, viewing these experiences as opportunities for personal growth. “I believe I was used for that person to learn life lessons,” she reflected. Instead of harboring resentment or retaliating, she remained true to her values. “No matter what someone did to me, I was never manipulative or trying to do the same thing back,” she added.

Her candid insights demonstrate her resilience and maturity in dealing with challenging situations. Rather than internalizing blame, Khloé chooses to focus on self-worth and the lessons learned along the way.
