Kylie Jenner gives fans a behind-the-scenes tour of her Hidden Hills mansion as construction continues on the long-awaited property.
Kylie Jenner has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at her long-awaited dream home in Hidden Hills, California, six years after purchasing the five-acre property for $15 million.
The reality star and makeup mogul, 29, shared a YouTube vlog on Sunday, taking viewers to the construction site as she checked on the latest progress and made a series of design approvals.
“I’m going to go to my construction site,” Jenner said in the video. “I have to do some approvals and you’re coming with me.”
Kylie Jenner showcases landscaping plans
The tour began outside the property, where Jenner showed off plans for the extensive landscaping surrounding the Italian-style residence.
The plans include lavender bushes, mature olive trees and a future rose garden, while a reclaimed cobblestone driveway is being created to lead up to the home.
Jenner appeared particularly focused on the details of the property, offering viewers a glimpse at the design decisions that have gone into the project over the years.
Inside Jenner’s Italian-style home
Inside the residence, Jenner highlighted several of the home’s key design features.
The property will feature reclaimed wood flooring, while plaster colour selections were being finalised for the main living areas.
She also showed a vintage fireplace and brickwork planned for the entrance, adding to the traditional European-inspired aesthetic of the home.
The tour continued into the kitchen, where the cabinetry was awaiting staining.
Jenner also showcased another fireplace, a basement gym, spa area and guest bathrooms featuring stone and vintage tiles.
Dream home to include sports court and pizza oven
Outside, Jenner revealed plans for several additional amenities designed for entertaining and family gatherings.
The property is set to include a gravel sports court, fountain and pizza oven, giving the expansive estate a range of leisure and outdoor entertaining features.
The combination of landscaping, reclaimed materials and vintage-inspired details reflects Jenner’s personalised vision for the property.
Kylie Jenner eager to move into completed home
At the end of the tour, Jenner expressed her excitement about finally seeing the lengthy construction project completed.
“I’ve been working on this for so long, and I’m just ready for it to be done. And to move in,” she said.
Jenner purchased the Hidden Hills property in April 2020, the same month she acquired a separate $36.5 million estate in Holmby Hills.
She has previously shared glimpses of the Hidden Hills home’s development, including areas such as the laundry room and closet.
Jenner reflects on her early property purchases
Last month, Jenner reflected on one of her earlier property purchases from 2018 during an interview with Who What Wear.
The reality star acknowledged that she had moved too quickly when buying homes at a younger age. She also said she felt she had lost some control over her life during that period.
Her latest construction tour demonstrates how much work has gone into transforming the Hidden Hills property into the personalised dream home she has envisioned for years.
With landscaping, interiors and outdoor amenities continuing to take shape, Jenner now appears eager to see the six-year project finally reach completion.
