Latest prices of Toyota Fortuner variants in Pakistan

The rise in the prices of Toyota Fortuner variants in Pakistan is attributed to the unstable economic situation and devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar.

The higher costs of raw materials have also forced the Indus Motor Company to hike their vehicle prices and transfer the burden to the consumers.

Toyota Fortuner was launched in Pakistan in February 2013. The SUV is locally manufactured by Indus Motor Company.

As of March 31, 2023, the Toyota Fortuner is available in five different models: Toyota Fortuner G (4×2 2TR STD Petrol), Toyota Fortuner V (4×4 2TR HI Petrol), Toyota Fortuner SIGMA 4 (4×4 1GD HI Diesel), Toyota Fortuner Legender (4×4 2755cc Diesel), and Fortuner 4×4 GR-S (2755cc Diesel). There are seven color options available for the SUV, which include Attitude Black, Dark Teal Mica, Graphite, Phantom Brown, Silver Metallic, Strong Blue, and Super White.

The Toyota Fortuner 2.7G and Toyota Fortuner 2.7V are both equipped with a 2.7 Liter DOHC 16 Valve Chain Drive with Dual VVTi petrol engine, with a capacity of 2694cc. The engine can generate a maximum power of 122/5200 kW/rpm and a torque of 245/4000 Nm/rpm.

On the other hand, the Toyota Fortuner 2.8 Sigma 4 and Toyota Fortuner Legender are powered by a 2.8 Liter DOHC 16 Valve diesel engine with Intercooler, with a capacity of 2755cc. The engine can produce a maximum power of 150/3000-3400 kW/rpm and a torque of 500/1600-2800 Nm/rpm.

All variants of the Fortuner come with a six-speed sequential transmission equipped with paddle shifters.

The Toyota Fortuner has a fuel efficiency of 9 km/l in the city and 11 km/l on the highway, with a fuel tank capacity of 80 liters.

The front of the SUV is designed with an aggressive and eye-catching pontoon-shaped bumper, a larger grille, and unique trim for the headlights to maintain the Fortuner’s identity. An integrated skid-plate adds to the SUV’s already robust presence at the front.

The SUV’s front also features LED line daytime running lights (DRLs) that enhance its advanced and sharp design. The angular headlamp design is achieved by separating the turn signal/position lamp from the headlamp.

At the rear, the SUV has rear combination lamps that have been improved by adding surface-emitting materials to the design. This creates a distinct stop lamp illumination at night. The rear is also equipped with a high mount stop lamp and a shark fin antenna.

The Toyota Fortuner comes with convenient features such as cruise control and ergonomically designed paddle shifters, making it effortless to take command of all the power at your disposal.

Toyota Fortuner comes with a variety of safety features such as the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), SRS airbags, seatbelts, and door courtesy, among others. The SUV also has vehicle stability control, drive start control, tyre-turning angle, emergency brake signal, light reminder, engine oil leveling warning, shift-lock system, and an anti-theft system.

The SUV’s interior is characterized by premium leather upholstery, wood grain patterned ornamentation, and illuminated controls, providing a dynamic and relaxed design aesthetic. The SUV is a seven-seater and features cup holders and ISOFIX child seat anchors on both sides of the second row. The seats from the third row fold up and anchor horizontally, allowing for additional storage space in the load area of the vehicle.

The Hydraulic Power Steering has been improved by the Variable Flow Control (VFC) technology, enhancing fuel economy, performance, and steering feel that matches the speed.
