KARACHI: Lucky Cement Limited (psx: LUCK) has secured 8th International Corporate Social Responsibility Award in the category of “Sustainability Initiative”. The award was organized by The Professionals Network (TPN).
This award is the first and only registered CSR Award of Pakistan registered with IPO Government of Pakistan.
Lucky Cement received the award in recognition to its commitment towards sustainable development and contribution towards protecting the overall environment for a greener Pakistan.
Speaking of the occasion, Amin Ganny, Chief Operating Officer, Lucky Cement Limited, said: “At Lucky Cement, sustainable development is at the core of our business strategy. We are committed to conserving the environment and work towards keeping our operations green and environment friendly.”

Lucky Cement has extensively invested in implementing projects that reduce energy consumption and address issues of environmental degradation. Projects like Waste Heat Recovery (WHR) and Tyre Derived Fuel (TDF) have not only reduced cement production costs, but have significantly reduced carbon emissions.
