The Duchess of Sussex will return to the MasterChef franchise alongside judge Poh Ling Yeow, with the new episodes expected to air next year.

Meghan Markle is set to co-host Junior MasterChef Australia, marking her second appearance on the popular cooking franchise.

The Duchess of Sussex previously appeared on MasterChef Australia in April, working with adult contestants. She has now agreed to return to the programme to support a new generation of young culinary talent.

According to a statement reported by The Mirror, Meghan said she had an incredible experience with the MasterChef team earlier this year and readily accepted the invitation to work with younger contestants.

She added that she enjoyed cooking with her own children and was looking forward to seeing what the young participants would create in the kitchen.

Filming is scheduled to begin at Paramount Australia on Tuesday, 27 October, while the episodes are expected to air on Network Ten next year.

Meghan will be joined by judge Poh Ling Yeow, reuniting with the television personality following their previous collaboration on the programme.

Yeow also welcomed the news, saying she had enjoyed filming with Meghan earlier this year and describing their reunion as a treat. She added that she was excited to meet the young cooking contestants.

Meghan’s return marks another television appearance for the Duchess, who has pursued various media and entertainment projects alongside her other professional commitments.

The upcoming series will place the spotlight on aspiring young cooks, with viewers set to see Meghan and Yeow working together as the contestants demonstrate their culinary skills.
