MG Pakistan has introduced a new MG HS petrol variant in the local market, expanding the lineup of its popular SUV. Alongside the launch, the company has announced the booking amount and ex-factory price of the newly introduced model.
According to the details shared by the company, the new MG HS petrol variant carries an ex-factory price of Rs8,799,999, while customers can book the SUV by paying Rs1,500,000. The latest addition is aimed at buyers looking for a premium SUV with a conventional petrol powertrain.
1.5L Turbo Engine and DCT Transmission
The new MG HS is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 165 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
The engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), offering a combination of performance and automatic driving convenience.
The SUV measures 4,655 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width and 1,664 mm in height, while its wheelbase stands at 2,765 mm. These dimensions give the MG HS a substantial road presence while providing a spacious cabin.
Premium Interior and Infotainment
Inside, the new MG HS petrol variant features electrically adjustable seats. The driver’s seat gets 6-way electric adjustment with 4-way electric lumbar support, while the passenger seat comes with 4-way electric adjustment.
For entertainment and connectivity, the SUV is equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system is complemented by an 8-speaker audio setup.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
Safety remains another key highlight of the new MG HS. The SUV comes equipped with seven airbags, along with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). It also features a 360-degree camera with transparent chassis functionality, providing drivers with enhanced visibility while maneuvering.
The SUV rides on 225/55 R19 tyres, adding to its overall stance and road presence.
