Honda Motor Company is set to make waves in 2024 with the introduction of the highly anticipated Honda Civic Hybrid, set to hit markets in 2024, as confirmed by Mamadou Diallo, the Senior Vice President of Auto Sales at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (AHM).
Diallo expressed enthusiasm, stating, “With more electrified goodness on the way, including the Acura ZDX, Honda Prologue, and the Civic hybrid, we are in a great position to continue the sales momentum into 2024.”

In addition to the exciting hybrid launch, Honda also shared impressive sales results:
American Honda achieved remarkable sales, surpassing 1.3 million units, marking a substantial 33 percent increase in 2023.
The Honda brand closed the year with a 31.9 percent increase, reaching 1,162,531 units, while Acura experienced a 42 percent growth with sales of 145,655 units in 2023.
Honda’s electrified models achieved an all-time sales record, with CR-V and Accord hybrids contributing to over one-quarter of total Honda brand sales, totaling 293,640 units.
CR-V strengthened its position as America’s best-selling crossover, reaching 361,457 units, while Ridgeline achieved its all-time best annual sales performance with 52,001 units.
Civic and Accord, with nearly 400,000 units combined, demonstrated strong passenger car sales in 2023.
Acura Integra led the luxury gateway segment with 32,090 units sold, and Acura MDX and RDX reached nearly 100,000 units in 2023.

Honda brand posted three consecutive quarters with sales over 300,000 units.
CR-V emerged as the best-selling Honda model in 2023, with 55 percent of sales being hybrid-electric.
Civic sales soared by 50 percent over 2022, with the anticipation of a new Civic hybrid in 2024.
Acura experienced its best passenger car sales since 2016, finishing the year up 42 percent with 145,655 units sold.
RDX sales climbed by an impressive 58.5 percent, surpassing 39,000 units in 2023.
MDX concluded the year with over 57,000 units sold.
