Pak Suzuki announced increased prices of Suzuki Swift due to sales tax hike and devaluation of Pakistani Rupee (PKR) against US Dollar.
The uncertain economic situation and volatile exchange rate has compelled Pak Suzuki to increase the retail selling prices of Suzuki Swift trims.
The car is launched in three variants including Swift GL, Swift GL (CVT) and Swift GLX (CVT). The prices of these variants as on March 09, 2023 are given below.
The ex-factory price of Suzuki Swift GL is increased by Rs245,000 to Rs4,052,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs3,807,000.
The ex-factory price of Swift GL (CVT) is increase by Rs263,000 to Rs4,355,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs4,092,000.
the ex-factory price of Swift GLX (CVT) is increased by Rs263,000 to Rs4,725,000 as compared to previous price tag of Rs4,462,000.
The Suzuki Swift was launched in Pakistan on February 24, 2022. The car is locally manufactured by Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited.
The car is available in colors including Solid White, Silky Silver, Mineral Grey, Phoenix Red, Black and Cerulean Blue.
The engine of Suzuki Swift is enhanced by the VVT technology which delivers more power and fuel efficiency. The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) gives more control and choice of engaging sports mode for faster and powerful response.
Suzuki Swift is powered by 1.2 liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder VVT petrol engine with engine capacity of 1200 cc that generates 92 horse power and torque of 113 Nm at 4200 RPM through five-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission.
The exterior of the car features bold chrome accented honeycomb front grill, crafted polished alloys, muscular body lines and pillar mounted back-door handles. The vehicle is equipped with Daytime Running Lamps (DRLs) and sensor-enabled adjustable LED projector head lamps to have brilliant vision at night.
Interior of the vehicle is equipped with push-start button with a D-shaped steering wheel and cylindrical gauges in the cockpit. The interior features a 9-inch infotainment screen which allows Apple or Android phone mirroring and navigation.
The vehicle features climate control panel which allows intuitive operation with easy recognition through the use of a high contrast LCD. The car also carries cruise control option which makes the longer distance seem shorter.
The vehicle features car alarm system which provides security against unauthorized access. The car is also equipped with 6 occupant-protective SRS airbag system for collision safety. The SRS airbags set to deploy from both the front as well as the sides in case of collision keeping passengers secure from all sides.
