The partnership with Chery and Huawei-backed mobility brand LUXEED signals Nishat Group’s expansion into Pakistan’s premium electric vehicle market.
Nishat Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Chinese premium new energy vehicle brand LUXEED, paving the way for its potential entry into Pakistan’s automotive market.
The agreement was signed in Wuhu, China, with both parties aiming to combine their expertise to introduce advanced mobility technologies to Pakistani consumers.
The collaboration marks another development in Nishat Group’s growing automotive portfolio as Pakistan’s vehicle market gradually explores electric mobility, intelligent driving systems and technology-focused premium vehicles.
Nishat Group Expands Its Automotive Portfolio
Nishat Group has established a strong presence across Pakistan’s textile, banking, cement, insurance, power and agricultural sectors. Its expansion into automobiles reflects a broader strategy of diversifying its investments into emerging industries and technologies.
Through NexGen Auto, the group introduced OMODA and JAECOO in Pakistan in August 2025, supported by a reported investment of $100 million and local assembly operations in Faisalabad. The brands have since expanded their presence in the market, while Nishat Group has also brought Chery’s iCAUR brand to Pakistan, which was showcased at the Pakistan Auto Show 2026.
The LUXEED agreement adds another potential premium vehicle offering to this portfolio. However, the companies have not yet disclosed specific details regarding the Pakistani launch schedule, vehicle lineup, pricing or local assembly plans.
What Makes LUXEED Different?
LUXEED is a premium new energy vehicle brand developed through a partnership between Chery and Huawei. The collaboration combines Chery’s automotive engineering and manufacturing capabilities with Huawei’s expertise in intelligent vehicle technologies.
The brand operates within Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance ecosystem. Its technology portfolio includes HarmonyOS-based smart cockpit systems, Qiankun advanced driver assistance technology and digital driving solutions designed to improve convenience, safety and the overall driving experience.
LUXEED positions itself around three core priorities: intelligence, luxury and driving pleasure. Rather than focusing exclusively on traditional luxury features, the brand aims to integrate connected technology, driver assistance and user-oriented vehicle functions.
The company held its global brand launch event in Wuhu on October 21, 2026, highlighting its ambitions in the premium new energy mobility segment.
Chery’s Global Network Supports Expansion
LUXEED also benefits from Chery Group’s international manufacturing experience, research capabilities and overseas distribution network. Chery has developed a substantial global presence, providing a foundation for introducing its associated brands to additional markets.
For Pakistan, the agreement could expand the range of premium electric and intelligent vehicles available to buyers. Further details will determine whether LUXEED enters through imported vehicles, local manufacturing or a combination of both.
The partnership represents a potential new chapter in Nishat Group’s automotive strategy, although its practical impact will depend on the launch plans and product details announced in the coming months.
