Nothing is gearing up to launch its next-generation wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3), with an official unveiling set for September 18.
Ahead of the event, a series of leaked images have surfaced online, giving fans an early look at the upcoming flagship TWS earbuds.
The Ear (3) follows the original Nothing Ear lineup, with the company now opting for a straightforward numbering system that makes it easier to identify each generation. The leaked pictures highlight a sleek design with Nothing’s signature transparent aesthetics, along with a metal charging case that has already been confirmed by the brand.
One of the most interesting additions is the so-called “Super Mic” built into the case. According to reports, this external microphone is rated at 95dB and is designed to enhance call quality. While its inclusion raises questions about the effectiveness of the in-ear mics, the Super Mic could be a valuable tool for content creators, potentially serving as a portable alternative to a dedicated microphone.
In terms of specifications, the Nothing Ear (3) earbuds are expected to feature 12mm dynamic drivers and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) up to 45dB, offering a premium listening experience. They will also support 24-bit audio via LDAC, ensuring high-resolution sound for compatible devices.
Battery performance looks promising, with Nothing claiming up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge, though it remains unclear whether this includes ANC usage. With the charging case, total playback time is expected to extend to 38 hours, making them suitable for all-day use.
The leaked images confirm that Nothing will maintain its unique design identity, combining modern technology with transparency and metal finishes. Fans of the brand can expect the Ear (3) to deliver both style and performance in line with Nothing’s growing reputation in the audio space.
With the official launch only days away, anticipation is building to see how the Nothing Ear (3) stacks up against competitors in the crowded TWS market. If leaks are accurate, these earbuds could become one of the most intriguing wireless audio products of 2025.
