Omoda and Jaecoo Pakistan have expanded their plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) lineup with the launch of the Omoda 7 PHEV, giving buyers another premium SUV option alongside the already popular Jaecoo J7 PHEV.
Although both models are built under the Chery Group umbrella and share nearly identical hybrid powertrains, their exterior styling targets completely different types of customers.
The Jaecoo J7 PHEV, introduced in Pakistan in October 2025, helped establish the Omoda and Jaecoo brands in the local market.
Its competitive pricing, premium equipment, and advanced hybrid technology made it one of Nishat Motors’ most successful launches. Now, the newly unveiled Omoda 7 PHEV offers a more modern and urban-focused alternative.
Exterior Design Comparison
At first glance, the two SUVs follow contrasting design philosophies. The Omoda 7 PHEV features a sleek, aerodynamic crossover profile with flowing body lines, a coupe-inspired silhouette, flush door handles, and a distinctive closed-style front fascia finished with a geometric grille pattern.
