Omoda and Jaecoo Pakistan hints at the arrival of the Omoda C7 PHEV, featuring Super Hybrid technology as demand for hybrid SUVs continues to grow.

Omoda and Jaecoo Pakistan has officially hinted at the arrival of the Omoda C7 PHEV Pakistan, signaling the brand’s continued expansion into the country’s fast-growing hybrid vehicle segment.

The teaser comes at a time when Pakistani consumers are increasingly shifting toward fuel-efficient hybrid SUVs, making the upcoming launch one of the most anticipated automotive developments of the year.

The company recently released a teaser video across its social media platforms. Although it did not directly reveal the model name, the illuminated front daytime running lights (DRLs) and headlamp design closely resemble the internationally available Omoda C7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), strongly suggesting that this is the SUV destined for the local market.

In its promotional campaign, Omoda and Jaecoo described the upcoming model as a French Design Award winner equipped with Super Hybrid System technology.

The teaser also highlights a combination of premium styling and advanced performance, accompanied by the message: “The perfect fusion of style and performance. Behold, something beyond the future is coming. Stay tuned!”

While the automaker has yet to announce official pricing, specifications, or a launch timeline for Pakistan, the international version of the Omoda C7 provides a clear indication of what buyers can expect.

The SUV features a bold exterior highlighted by signature LED rear lights that create a wide, futuristic appearance and reinforce its premium design language.

The Omoda C7 also rides on stylish geometric-pattern alloy wheels that combine lightweight construction with durability, complementing its modern profile.

At the rear, the SUV features a sculpted tailgate, integrated spoiler, and chrome accents that enhance both practicality and aerodynamics.

Its front fascia is equally striking, featuring advanced LED matrix headlights that provide enhanced visibility while giving the SUV a distinctive road presence.

The sporty bumper design incorporates sharp lines, chrome detailing, and integrated air vents, balancing aesthetics with safety.

Globally, the Omoda C7 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (1DHT). The hybrid system delivers 23g/km CO₂ emissions, an 18.4 kWh battery pack, an electric-only driving range of up to 56 miles (around 90 km), a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h), and a 0-62 mph acceleration time of 8.4 seconds.

With demand for hybrid vehicles continuing to rise across Pakistan, the Omoda C7 PHEV could emerge as a strong contender in the premium hybrid SUV segment once official pricing and launch details are announced.

Industry observers are now eagerly awaiting further announcements from Omoda and Jaecoo Pakistan regarding the vehicle’s local specifications, availability, and booking schedule.
