Oppo’s latest flagship combines the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset with an 8,000mAh battery, 144Hz AMOLED display and triple 200MP rear cameras.
Oppo has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Find X10 Pro Max, featuring a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and an unusually camera-focused rear setup with three 200MP sensors.
The new smartphone uses the same chipset as the recently unveiled vivo X500 Pro Max, but Oppo has placed greater emphasis on photography with its triple 200MP camera system.
The main camera features a 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 24mm equivalent focal length, f/1.5 aperture and two-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS). The 13mm ultrawide camera uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and a claimed 124-degree field of view.
Completing the rear setup is a 70mm telephoto camera with another 1/1.56-inch sensor, f/2.1 aperture and two-axis OIS. The telephoto camera can focus from as close as 10cm, allowing it to be used for macro photography. Oppo also claims the main camera can deliver up to 17 stops of dynamic range at 1x zoom.
For selfies and video calls, the Find X10 Pro Max has a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus.
The smartphone is powered by an 8,000mAh battery supporting 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Oppo says the battery should retain at least 80% of its original capacity after five years of use.
The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1,272 × 2,772 resolution. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate in selected games, while system-wide refresh rates reach up to 120Hz. The panel also offers 288Hz touch sampling and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness.
The Find X10 Pro Max runs ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 and carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
It comes in Moon White, Warm Orange and Light Titanium. The handset measures 161.32 × 76.57 × 8.4mm and weighs between 233g and 235g depending on the colour.
Pre-orders start at CNY 6,799 ($1,015) for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, rising to CNY 8,999 ($1,344) for the 16GB/1TB model. Shipments begin September 24.
