Oppo Find X8 Ultra Redefines Flagship Smartphone Power

The highly anticipated Oppo Find X8 Ultra has officially arrived, and it’s living up to the hype. With flagship specs, elite performance, and cutting-edge camera capabilities, this device truly earns the “Ultra” badge.

Designed to push boundaries, the Find X8 Ultra features a powerhouse chipset, a stunning QHD AMOLED display, super-fast charging, and an exceptional camera array that sets a new standard for mobile photography.

In comparison to its predecessor, the Find X7 Ultra, this latest model brings a series of meaningful upgrades. It’s equipped with a more advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a larger 6,100mAh battery, and enhanced camera sensors with wider apertures for better light intake. A sleeker, refined design completes the upgrade, making it a true successor in both form and function.

Against the Find X8 Pro, the Ultra variant clearly pulls ahead. It boasts a larger, higher-resolution 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with 1440p resolution, Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also integrates LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring blazing-fast performance and seamless multitasking.

But what truly sets the Find X8 Ultra apart is its camera system. The rear hosts four 50MP cameras, including two upgraded periscope telephoto lenses. The primary shooter utilizes the impressive 1-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor. One periscope lens offers a 3x optical zoom with a LYT-700 sensor, while the second extends to 6x with a large LYT-600 sensor. Although the ultrawide lens sees a slight downgrade, the overall imaging experience is bolstered by Oppo’s True Chroma Camera—a 9-channel multispectral system designed for precise color reproduction.

The front camera, a 32MP unit with autofocus, is inherited from the previous Ultra model. Supporting it all is Oppo’s next-gen HyperTone Image Engine and ProXDR technology, delivering enhanced color depth, brightness, and detail with AI-powered tone mapping.

The Find X8 Ultra runs Android 15 with Oppo’s ColorOS 15 and supports ultra-fast 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and even 10W reverse wireless charging. Connectivity options are top-tier, with Wi-Fi 7, 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, and satellite emergency support (on select variants).

Unfortunately, the only downside is availability. For now, it appears the Find X8 Ultra will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. Global fans can only hope for an international release of this feature-packed marvel.
