Pakistan has confirmed the itinerary for their upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland, marking a historic return to Irish soil since 2018. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the dates for these exciting clashes, slated to take place from May 10 to May 14 at Castle Avenue in Dublin.
This series holds special significance as it marks the inaugural multi-match bilateral T20I showdown between Pakistan and Ireland. Prior to this, their encounters were limited to a solitary match in 2009.
Although a two-match T20I series was planned for July 2020, it was regrettably postponed due to the global Covid-19 outbreak.
In gearing up for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 in the USA and the West Indies, Pakistan is leaving no stone unturned. They’ve strategically lined up a rigorous schedule of 12 T20Is, including engagements with New Zealand and England, to fine-tune their prowess ahead of the tournament.
