Global gold prices rise
Bullion market experts attributed the increase in domestic gold prices to an uptick in international markets.
They said easing global oil prices had supported demand for the precious metal, contributing to the rise in international and domestic gold prices.
In the international market, gold prices increased by $39 per ounce to $4,466, compared with the previous close of $4,427.
The rise in global bullion prices translated into a significant increase in the domestic market, with the 24-karat gold rate crossing Rs469,000 per tola.
Market participants are closely monitoring international bullion movements, oil prices and demand trends, which could influence domestic gold rates in coming trading sessions.
