KARACHI, April 26, 2026 – Pakistan have named a 15-member squad for their upcoming One-Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe, set to begin in early May, as preparations intensify for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in June.
The hosts will be led by captain Fatima Sana, who faces a key test after Pakistan’s recent tour of South Africa, where they lost both the ODI and T20I series 2-1 against the Proteas.
Uncapped player Momina Riasat has earned her maiden ODI call-up, marking a significant milestone in her career. The series is part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship, adding further importance to the fixtures.
Pakistan’s squad includes experienced names such as Aliya Riaz, Sidra Amin and Nashra Sandhu, alongside wicketkeepers Muneeba Ali and Najiha Alvi. The full squad also features Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Gull Feroza, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Syeda Aroob Shah and Tasmia Rubab.
Pakistan currently sit fifth in the Women’s Championship standings with two points, following a series win earlier this year.
Zimbabwe’s women’s team will arrive in Karachi on April 29 for their first-ever tour of Pakistan, with all matches scheduled at the National Bank Stadium.
The ODI series begins on May 3, followed by matches on May 6 and May 9. A three-match T20I series will start on May 12, with all games played under lights.
The series offers Pakistan a crucial opportunity to build momentum ahead of a packed international calendar.
