On Friday, similar conditions are forecast in these areas, with light rain, drizzle or thunderstorms possible during the morning and night.

Across the country, most regions are expected to remain dry on Thursday and Friday. Northern areas are likely to experience partly cloudy skies and cold conditions during the morning and night.

The PMD has forecast partly cloudy weather accompanied by light rain or thunderstorms in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan on Thursday, with light snowfall possible over the hills.

On Friday, partly cloudy conditions with light rain, thunderstorms or snowfall are expected in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The department said dry weather prevailed over most parts of the country during the previous 24 hours, while northern areas experienced cold conditions.
