Pakistani Climber Shehroze Kashif Conquers Mount Manaslu

Shehroze Kashif, the promising Pakistani mountaineer, has etched his name in the annals of mountaineering history once more. He has achieved the astounding summit of Nepal’s towering peak, Mount Manaslu, standing tall at 8,163 meters.

This accomplishment not only solidifies his reputation as a rising star in the world of climbing but also positions him as the youngest mountaineer to conquer an impressive 12 peaks exceeding the 8,000-meter mark.

Two years ago, in September 2021, Shehroze had made a valiant attempt to conquer Manaslu but narrowly missed reaching the actual summit. However, on September 20th, 5:01 am PST, he achieved a triumphant ascent that has firmly secured his place in mountaineering history.

Shehroze is no stranger to rewriting the record books. Currently, he holds two Guinness World Records: one as the youngest to conquer K2 and the other as the youngest to summit Broad Peak.

In 2022, he continued his ascent to greatness, becoming the youngest person globally and the first Pakistani to reach the summit of Kangchenjunga, the world’s third-highest peak, on May 05.

Just eleven days later, on May 16, 2022, he added another feather to his cap by conquering Mount Lhotse, the world’s fourth-highest peak at 8,516 meters, in Nepal.

In November 2022, Guinness World Records officially recognized Shehroze for the year 2023, applauding his incredible summits of Mount Everest and K2.

The BARD Foundation, which generously sponsors Shehroze’s expeditions, is beaming with pride over his latest extraordinary achievement. Scaling Mount Manaslu is a significant stride toward Shehroze’s ultimate dream of becoming the youngest mountaineer to conquer all 14 of the world’s loftiest peaks.

Shehroze’s climbing prowess is undeniable, with a remarkable climbing history that includes conquering Broad Peak at the tender age of 17, earning him the moniker ‘The Broad Boy.’

His journey in the world of mountain climbing commenced at the age of 11 with Makra Peak, followed by Musa ka Musalla and Chembra Peak at the age of 12. At 13, he conquered Mingli Sar in Shimshal, and by 15, he had triumphed over the Khurdopin Pass. At 18, he tackled Khosar Gang in alpine style.

May 2023 witnessed another triumphant ascent by Shehroze, this time conquering Nepal’s Mount Dhaulagiri, a towering peak at an impressive 8,167 meters and the seventh highest globally.
