Lahore, November 21, 2024 – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially appointed Mr. Sumair Ahmad Syed, the PCB’s Chief Operating Officer, as the Tournament Director for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be held in Pakistan.
PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, expressed confidence in Syed’s ability to successfully manage the prestigious event.
“Sumair is an exceptionally organized professional with extensive administrative experience. His passion for cricket, combined with his expertise, makes him the ideal choice to oversee the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. I am confident that under his leadership, the tournament will be a resounding success, providing an unforgettable experience for players, officials, and fans alike,” said Naqvi.
