Islamabad, March 13, 2024 – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made a significant announcement regarding the match officials for the upcoming HBL PSL 9 playoffs and final, set to electrify fans at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from March 14 to March 18.
In the Qualifier clash on March 14, pitting Multan Sultans against Peshawar Zalmi, the esteemed Roshan Mahanama has been designated as the match referee. Officiating on-field duties for this pivotal encounter will be shouldered by the experienced duo of Aleem Dar and Richard Illingworth, supported by Rashid Riaz and Faisal Afridi as the third and fourth umpires, respectively.
Moving on to the Eliminator 1 scheduled for March 15, featuring Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators, the role of match referee will be assumed by Muhammad Javed. Ahsan Raza and Chris Gaffaney will be at the forefront as on-field umpires, while Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz take on the crucial roles of third and fourth umpires.
