Phoebe Bridgers has officially announced her first concert tour in three years, exciting fans after a series of surprise performances across the United States. The upcoming trek, titled The Lost Tour, marks her return to large-scale touring since concluding The Reunion Tour in early 2023.
The announcement comes shortly after Bridgers generated significant buzz with a surprise $1 phone-free concert in New York City, which quickly became a talking point among fans and music enthusiasts.
‘No Phones’ Policy Set for Entire Tour
On June 5, the 31-year-old singer revealed the tour through an Instagram post, sharing an official poster alongside a brief caption: “I’m going on tour no phones.”
According to an official press release, every show on The Lost Tour will operate under a strict phone-free policy. Upon entering the venue, attendees will be required to place their mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices into secure Yondr pouches.
Fans will keep possession of the locked pouches during the event, but devices cannot be accessed until they leave designated phone-free areas. Organizers stated that anyone caught using an unauthorized device during a performance may be removed from the venue.
Focus on Live Music Experience
The phone-free approach is designed to encourage concertgoers to fully engage with the live music experience without distractions from screens and social media. Similar policies have gained popularity among several artists in recent years as a way to create a more immersive atmosphere for audiences.
The press release also encouraged attendees to bring a credit card for purchases inside the venues.
Tour Supports Sexual Assault Survivors
In addition to the tour announcement, Bridgers confirmed a charitable component tied to ticket sales. Organizers revealed that $1 from every ticket sold for North American dates will be donated to RAINN and its National Sexual Assault Hotline, supporting services for survivors across the United States.
North America and Europe Dates Confirmed
The Lost Tour will begin in Indianapolis on September 15 before visiting major cities throughout the United States and Canada. Following the North American leg, Bridgers will continue the tour across the United Kingdom, Ireland, and several European destinations in November, marking one of her biggest international tours to date.
