Porsche has unveiled an extensive upgrade to the Taycan, elevating its power, range, acceleration, and charging capabilities. With refined design elements and enhanced performance across all models, the new Taycan lineup promises an unparalleled driving experience.
The latest iterations, available in three body variants – the Taycan sports sedan, the versatile Taycan Cross Turismo, and the sporty Taycan Sport Turismo – boast four powertrain options, including rear- and all-wheel drive variants. Scheduled for release in spring 2024, these upgraded models reflect Porsche’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
During development, engineers rigorously tested the Taycan, covering over 3.6 million kilometers worldwide to refine its performance. With nearly 150,000 units produced, the Taycan continues to captivate markets worldwide, particularly in the US, the UK, Germany, and China.
Enhanced Performance and Range
The updated Taycan lineup accelerates significantly faster than its predecessors, with the Taycan and Taycan Turbo S reaching 100 km/h from a standstill in just 4.8 and 2.4 seconds, respectively. Notably, the new push-to-pass function in the Sport Chrono package provides a temporary boost of up to 70 kW, enhancing acceleration capabilities.
Moreover, the WLTP range has increased by over 35 percent, reaching up to 678 km, reducing the need for frequent charging stops during long journeys. With improved fast-charging capabilities, the Taycan can now be charged at up to 320 kW, significantly reducing charging times.
