Port Qasim handles cement, palm oil, coal, Mogas and container traffic, while five vessels are scheduled to berth
KARACHI: Port Qasim recorded active maritime operations on October 7, 2026, with six vessels scheduled to sail from the port carrying cement, palm oil, containers, coal and Mogas.
According to the latest Port Qasim Authority (PQA) shipping update, issued at 0800 hours on October 7, six vessels were scheduled for departure during the next 24 hours.
Vessels scheduled to sail
The M.T. Doric Javelin, carrying 40,752 tonnes of cement, is scheduled to sail at 11:30am from M/W-II.
The M.T. RM 7, carrying 2,502 tonnes of palm oil, is scheduled to depart from LCT at noon, followed by the M.V. BSG Barbados, a container vessel, at 3pm from QICT-VII.
The M.T. Elisabeth, also carrying 2,502 tonnes of palm oil, is scheduled to leave M/W-I at 3:30pm.
At the same time, the M.V. Dixon, carrying 59,600 tonnes of coal, is scheduled to sail from PIBT, while the M.T. Nave Cielo, carrying 60,472 tonnes of Mogas, is scheduled to depart from FOTCO.
Five vessels scheduled to berth
Five vessels are scheduled to berth at Port Qasim during the reporting period.
The M.T. Esteem Houston, carrying 24,500 tonnes of palm oil, is scheduled to berth at LCT at 3pm.
The M.V. Hansa Africa, a 231-metre vessel, is scheduled to berth at QICT-VII at 6pm, while the M.V. CXL 66, measuring 213 metres, is scheduled to arrive at QT2-II at 6:15pm.
The M.T. Grand Ace 11, carrying 13,000 tonnes of palm oil, is scheduled to berth at M/W-I at 6:30pm.
Also at 6:30pm, the M.T. SC Legacy, carrying 25,000 tonnes of high-sulphur fuel oil (HSFO), is scheduled to berth at FOTCO.
The latest shipping programme reflects continued activity across Port Qasim’s terminals, with operations covering energy products, agricultural commodities, bulk cargo and containerised trade.
