Karachi, April 4, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has provided the latest shipping activity report for Friday, April 4, 2025, to keep all stakeholders informed of the ongoing operations at the port.
Port Qasim, one of the most significant shipping hubs in Pakistan, has shared a detailed update on its shipping activities, as of 0800 hours today, covering the last 24 hours. The data outlines crucial information related to vessel movements, including both the sailing and berthing of ships. This transparency is aimed at ensuring smooth operations and helping stakeholders better plan their activities.
In terms of vessel departures, M.T. TITAN UNIKUM with PQA Registration No. 35647, carrying ethylene as its main commodity, set sail at 15:30 hours. The vessel, measuring 153.00 meters in length overall (L.O.A), had a draft aft of 7.60 meters and a draft forward (FWR) of 7.00 meters. The ship was operated by the agent Al-Pine Marine, and it departed from the EVTL berth at Port Qasim.
On the other hand, Port Qasim witnessed several vessels arrive at the port for unloading. The M.T. KASTOS, registered under PQA No. 35650, arrived at the FOTCO berth at 12:00 hours. This large vessel, which measures 183.00 meters in L.O.A., brought in 47,500 metric tons of High Sulfur Fuel Oil (H.S.F.O.). The vessel had a draft aft of 7.00 meters and a forward draft of 5.00 meters. The ship was also managed by Al-Pine Marine.
Another significant arrival at Port Qasim was the M.T. SINAR MALAHAYATI, arriving at 12:30 hours. This ship, with a L.O.A. of 147.83 meters, is carrying 17,649 metric tons of palm oil. The vessel had a draft aft and forward of 9.40 meters and docked at the LCT berth. The ship was also operated by Al-Pine Marine.
Additionally, the M.T. FURANO GALAXY, which measures 160.00 meters in length, docked at the EVTL berth at 18:30 hours.
