Karachi, February 27, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest update on shipping activities, detailing vessel movements and cargo handling over the past 24 hours.

This report is aimed at keeping stakeholders informed about ongoing operations at the port.

Port Qasim remains one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs, handling a diverse range of cargo, including containers, liquefied natural gas (LNG), petroleum products, and bulk commodities. The latest shipping report, updated at 8:00 AM, highlights the arrival, departure, and berthing of vessels, ensuring smooth maritime operations.

Shipping Operations and Vessel Departures

Several vessels set sail from Port Qasim during the reporting period. Among them was the tanker KAISA I, which departed in the afternoon. The container vessel MARIAM also sailed from the port, followed closely by SSI VICTORY, a bulk carrier, both departing on schedule. Efficient shipping operations ensure that Port Qasim continues to function as a key trade gateway for Pakistan.

Berthing of Vessels

During the past 24 hours, multiple ships berthed at Port Qasim for loading and unloading cargo. The LNG carrier METHANE ALISON VICTORIA docked at the port, carrying a significant shipment of 139,520 metric tons of liquefied natural gas. Additionally, TIRUA, a large container ship, was accommodated at the terminal, along with ONE RELIABILITY, which also carried a substantial number of containers for offloading.

Another important arrival was the tanker EMMA GRACE, which docked to unload 14,323 metric tons of soybean oil. Furthermore, the tanker GINGA HAWK and container vessel WAN HAI 501 reached the port and were scheduled for berthing later in the evening.

Port Qasim continues to play a crucial role in facilitating maritime trade, ensuring seamless shipping operations that connect Pakistan to global markets. With a growing number of shipping vessels calling at the port, authorities are focused on optimizing logistics to support trade expansion.
