Port Qasim Shipping Activity Update – March 28, 2025

Karachi, March 28, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping activity report for Friday, March 28, 2025, providing key updates on vessel movements, berthing, and cargo handling. This report is aimed at keeping stakeholders informed about operations at Port Qasim, one of Pakistan’s busiest maritime hubs.

The Port Qasim shipping update, issued at 0800 hours, details the arrival, departure, and shifting of vessels over the past 24 hours. With an increasing volume of shipping activities, the port continues to play a crucial role in Pakistan’s trade and logistics network.

Sailing of Vessels

Several vessels departed Port Qasim after completing their cargo operations. Among them:

• M.T-NAVE ESTELLA (PQA Reg No. 35597), a shipping vessel carrying gas oil, set sail at 11:30 AM after loading 39,471 metric tons of fuel. Operated by Sharaf Shipping, the vessel had a draft of 9.65 meters.

• M.V-ORIOLE (PQA Reg No. 35608) carrying cement, completed its operations and departed at 11:30 AM. The ship, managed by Global Maritime, transported 32,153 metric tons of cement for export.

• M.V-SUPER ARTETA (PQA Reg No. 35594), a bulk carrier loaded with 40,000 metric tons of rice, left Port Qasim at 3:30 PM under the management of Eastwind Shipping.

Berthing of Vessels

The Port Qasim Authority also reported the berthing of several shipping vessels carrying diverse cargo:

• M.V-MUNDRA EXPRESS (PQA Reg No. 35626), a container ship, berthed at QT2-II terminal at 2:30 PM under Hapag-Lloyd Pakistan.

• M.T-KK MARLIN (PQA Reg No. 35612), carrying 57,413 metric tons of mogas, arrived at FOTCO terminal at 3:00 PM, managed by Transmarine Shipping.

• M.V-AOM SVEVA (PQA Reg No. 35625), transporting 68,471 metric tons of soybean seed, was docked at PIBT terminal at 3:00 PM, operated by Sea Trade Shipping.

Shifting of Vessels

• M.V-HATTHAYA NAREE (PQA Reg No. 35611), loaded with 17,283 metric tons of chickpeas, was shifted from O/ANCH at midnight. The movement was overseen by Al-Pine Marine.
