Karachi, May 19, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest shipping operations report to provide detailed information on maritime activities at the port over the last 24 hours.
The report, issued at 0800 hours on Monday, May 19, 2025, highlights ongoing and completed vessel movements essential for stakeholders involved in port and shipping operations.
According to the Port Qasim Authority, one vessel completed its departure within the reporting period. The vessel M.T-BAM BAM, carrying a cargo of 52,725 metric tons of MOGAS, departed from FOTCO terminal at 12:00 noon. The vessel, measuring 228 meters in length overall (L.O.A), maintained a consistent draft of 11.70 meters both fore and aft. The ship was managed by Al-Pine Marine, a notable name in port shipping operations.
The report also noted the berthing of four vessels on Sunday evening. Among them, M.V-HANSA AFRICA and M.V-SEASPAN SANTOS were berthed at QICT terminals (QICT-V and QICT-VII respectively), while M.V-MSC MARTINA was received at berth QT2-II. These container vessels are integral to port operations, handling a mix of general cargo and containerized goods. The timely docking of these ships demonstrates the efficiency of logistics and traffic management at Port Qasim.
Additionally, M.T-EM ZENITH, carrying 45,479 metric tons of gas oil, successfully berthed at the FOTCO terminal at 19:00 hours. The tanker had a length of 228 meters and drew a balanced draft of 11.90 meters. This operation was managed by GAC Shipping, further underlining the port’s smooth coordination with shipping agents and stakeholders.
