Karachi, May 2, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its daily shipping operations report for Friday, May 2, 2025. The report, published at 0800 hours, offers an update on the port’s activities over the previous 24 hours and is intended to keep shipping agents, port authorities, and other stakeholders informed.

According to the latest shipping report, Port Qasim saw active movement of both container and cargo vessels. Several ships were berthed and sailed, contributing to the ongoing logistical flow at one of Pakistan’s busiest commercial ports.

The shipping operations report highlights that the container vessel M.V-MSC SHINA V departed from berth QICT-VII at 20:00 hours on May 1. The ship, registered with PQA under number 35760, has a length overall (LOA) of 294.12 meters and was handling container cargo. The departure was managed by MSC Pakistan, a key shipping line operating at the port.

On the same day, three new vessels berthed at different terminals. These included M.V-GFS RUBY at QICT-VII at 02:00 hours, M.V-CMA CGM BIANCA at QT2-II at 14:30 hours, and M.T-KAISA I, a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier, at the EVTL terminal at 14:45 hours. M.T-KAISA I discharged a cargo of 3,258 metric tons of LPG, as recorded in the shipping report. Another major vessel, M.V-CHRISTIANA P, carrying 68,548 metric tons of soybean seed, berthed at PIBT at 16:00 hours.

Port Qasim’s daily report plays an essential role in helping coordinate shipping logistics.
