Six vessels to sail and six to berth as Port Qasim records continued cargo and tanker activity
KARACHI: The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has reported continued shipping activity at the country’s second-busiest port, with six vessels scheduled to sail and six more expected to berth on September 2, 2026.
The latest shipping operations report, covering activity during the 24 hours up to 8:00am, also recorded the shifting of one vessel at the port.
Six vessels scheduled to sail
According to the PQA report, six vessels are scheduled to depart from Port Qasim during the day.
M.V SLS Topaz, registered under PQA No. 37828, is carrying containers and is scheduled to sail at 11:30am from QICT-VII. The 231-metre vessel is being handled by GAC Shipping.
M.V Arkas, registered as PQA No. 37771, is due to depart at 11:45am from HFP&S-IV after handling 55,867 tonnes of coal. The 196-metre vessel is represented by GAC Shipping.
M.V MSC Giovanna VII, PQA Reg No. 37825, is scheduled to sail at 11:45am from QT2-II. The 300-metre container vessel is represented by MSC Pakistan.
M.V Shel Duck, registered under PQA No. 37823, is scheduled to depart at 12:00pm from M/W-II after handling 29,773 tonnes of steel coil. GAC Shipping is its ship agent.
M.V Saltwind Explorer, PQA Reg No. 37788, is due to sail at 3:00pm from PIBT after handling 54,085 tonnes of coal. The 188-metre vessel is represented by Associated Liner.
Meanwhile, M.T Lian Le Hu, registered under PQA No. 37800, is scheduled to depart at 3:30pm from FOTCO. The 183-metre tanker is carrying 56,576 tonnes of MOGAS and is represented by Al-Pine Marine.
Six vessels scheduled to berth
The PQA has also listed six vessels expected to arrive and berth at various terminals during September 2.
M.T Elora 1 is scheduled to berth at 9:00am at LCT with 24,088 tonnes of palm oil. The 176-metre vessel is represented by Al-Pine Marine.
M.V Bahri Munira is due to berth at PQEPT at 2:30pm, carrying 53,012 tonnes of coal. The 200-metre vessel is represented by Al-Pine Marine.
M.V Peng Hu Wan, a 106-metre vessel carrying 5,008 tonnes of bitumen, is scheduled to berth at M/W-II at 3:00pm. TransTrade is its ship agent.
M.T Stolt Vanguard is scheduled to berth at EVTL at 3:00pm with 9,948 tonnes of phosphoric acid. The 159-metre vessel is represented by Al-Pine Marine.
M.V CMA CGM Rimbaud, measuring 270 metres, is scheduled to berth at QT2-II at 6:00pm.
Later, M.T Jarama is scheduled to berth at FOTCO at 7:00pm. The 228-metre vessel is carrying 57,575 tonnes of MOGAS and is represented by Al-Pine Marine.
Vessel shifting activity
The PQA report also recorded the shifting of M.T Marine Ista, registered under PQA No. 37827-B.
The 103-metre vessel, represented by Al-Pine Marine, was shifted from QT2-II. Its reported draft was 7.50 metres aft and 7.20 metres forward.
The latest shipping schedule highlights continued movement of container vessels, coal carriers, tankers and vessels handling industrial and petroleum-related cargo through Port Qasim.
