Karachi, March 29, 2025 – The Port Qasim Authority (PQA) has released its latest update on shipping operations for Saturday, March 29, 2025, ensuring transparency and efficiency for all stakeholders involved in maritime trade and logistics.

This comprehensive update provides insights into vessel movements, including sailings, berthings, and shifting of ships within Port Qasim over the past 24 hours.

Vessel Sailings at Port Qasim

As of 0800 hours, Port Qasim recorded the departure of multiple vessels engaged in various trade activities. The following ships have sailed out of the port:

• M.V. SUPER ARTETA: This vessel, with a length overall (L.O.A) of 189.99 meters, departed carrying 40,000 metric tons of rice. It had a forward and aft draft of 6.30 meters and set sail at 14:30 hours under the agency of Eastwind Shipping from the FAP terminal at Port Qasim.

• M.V. XPRESS ANGLESEY: Measuring 250.00 meters in length, this container vessel carried 179 TEUs of import cargo and 59 TEUs of export cargo. It departed at 21:00 hours under the agency of X-Press Feeders from the QICT-VII terminal.

Vessel Berthings at Port Qasim

Several vessels arrived and berthed at Port Qasim, facilitating the handling of various commodities:

• M.V. XPRESS ANGLESEY docked at QICT-VII at 09:00 hours, continuing its shipping activities.

• M.V. MSC SILVIA, a 299.88-meter-long container ship, berthed at QT2-II at 09:15 hours, managed by MSC Pakistan.

• M.T. NAVE PULSAR, a tanker carrying 29,908 metric tons of palm oil, berthed at LCT at 12:30 hours, handled by Al-Pine Marine.

• M.V. SSL GODAVARI, measuring 225 meters in length, arrived at QT2-I at 15:00 hours, under Ocean Services.

• M.V. MSC ALYSSA, a 274-meter container vessel, berthed at QICT-V at 15:30 hours, managed by MSC Pakistan.

Vessel Shifting Operations at Port Qasim

Shifting of vessels within Port Qasim ensures smooth operations and optimal utilization of berths. The following vessel was shifted within the port:

• M.V. HATTHAYA NAREE, a 179.90-meter-long vessel carrying chickpeas (17,283 metric tons), was shifted from PIBT to another berth under the agency of Al-Pine Marine at midnight.
